When I started IF in 2012, it was hard to adjust as I was a big breakfast buff. It took my body a couple weeks to adjusted. I was looking to get leaner so not really to lose weight. In fact I was looking to get bigger but maintain or even lose body fat.

The one thing which I noticed (and this is a habit now) is that drinking plenty; even excess of water helped me a lot. I also read somewhere that more often than not, we mistake thirst for hunger. Good luck on your IF journey.
