Great piece Brian! When I first started with headstands (not handstands), I was kicking up to a wall. However, slowly I realized that this wasn’t the best way to do headstands. So I moved away from kicking up and instead now rest my knees on my elbows and then push my legs up. So I never use momentum to achieve a headstand. With handstands I am still using the kick up technique and haven’t worked on a fall strategy. But after reading this, I think I shall start working on one.
